National & World Champion Miniature Horses and Ponies
National and World Champion Miniature Horses and Ponies
Four Kids, And Their Mom And Dad ... It's A Family Affair

"Our goal, from the beginning, was to have Miniature horses and Ponies that could compete at the national level in Youth, Amateur and Open classes. We've been able to do that. At the 2007 AMHR Nationals, we won nine national championships and had four reserve national titles, 40 top fives and 65 top tens in classes ranging from Youth to Amateur to Open. And at the 2008 Shetland Congress, we won national championships in Youth, Amateur and Open classes, and had the overall High-Point Pony."

Just 20 minutes west of downtown Minneapolis, Enchanted Hollow is located on 10 rolling acres in the picturesque, lakeside community of Orono, MN. It is home to miniature horses and ponies that show on the American Miniature Horse Registry (AMHR), American Shetland Pony Club (ASPC) and Pinto Horse Association of America circuits.

In a Shetland Congress debut that involved just three double-registered horses (AMHR and ASPC), Enchanted Hollow came away with three National championships, three Reserve National titles and one Reserve National Grand championship at the pretigious 2008 event held in Cloverdale, IN. At that Shetland Congress, which bridged late July and early August, D&S Double Dutch Chocolate was the overall High-Point Pony of the nearly 500 that were exhibited in Foundation, Classic, Modern and ASPR classes. Meantime, six Enchanted Hollow miniature horses won 2007 AMHR National championships in Tulsa, OK, in September. And the Sansevere family, which owns Enchanted Hollow, came away with nine national championships, four reserve national titles, 40 top fives and 65 top 10s in just its third year of competing at the national event.

Enchanted Hollow boasts several of the finest all-around Miniature performance horses in the world, with 14 AMHR national championships and 13 reserve national titles in driving and jumping classes since 2005. Including Shetland Congress, it's 17 national championships and 17 reserve national titles. Classique's Phantom Gold has been one of the most accomplished of Enchanted Hollow's Miniatures. Since 2005, Phantom has won three AMHR National championships and six Reserve National titles and, in 2007, he became the first Miniature horse in either the Under or Over Division to make it into the AMHR Hall of Fame in eight classes. Phantom's 494 Hall of Fame points in 2007 led the nation, while five Enchanted Hollow horses ranked in the top 11 for overall HOF points in '07. Whispering Hill Farm Magician (pictured left with Sawyer Sansevere) has won five AMHR national championships and three Reserve National titles since 2005 and is in the Hall of Fame in Hunter, Jumper and Roadster.

Enchanted Hollow horses have excelled in jumping classes, capturing seven national Jumper/Hunter championships and six reserve national jump-related titles at the 2005, 2006 and 2007 AMHR Nationals. Between AMHR Nationals and Shetland Congress, four Enchanted Hollow horses have won national championships in Jumper and Hunter classes since 2005 -- an unprecedented feat. Enchanted Hollow also won two world championships at the 2005 World Pinto Championships.

After winning national titles in Amateur Hunter Under and Amateur Hunter Over at the 2005 AMHR Nationals, three different Enchanted Hollow horses won 2006 AMHR championships in Amateur Jumper Over, Open Jumper Under and Open Hunter Over.

And then, in 2007, six horses accounted for national titles in Open Roadster Over, Amateur Park Harness Under and Over, Youth Pleasure Driving Under and Over, Youth Country Pleasure Driving Over, Roadster Over, Youth Jumper and Youth Hunter.

Along with Phantom, shown in photo below right with Samantha during a Roadster exhibition at Running Aces harness racetrack in Minnesota, Whispering Hill Farm Magician epitomizes the versatility of Enchanted Hollow horses. Magic won 2007 AMHR Nationals championships in Youth Hunter Over (12-Under), Amateur Park Harness Over, and Open Roadster Over. Magic also had reserve national titles in Open Park Harness Over and Park Harness Stakes, and had third-place finishes in Youth Roadster (12-Under) and Open Jumper Over. Magic has a remarkable story. In 2006, when he was just learning to drive, he froze halfway through the gate in Des Moines in the Amateur Roadster class and had to be led out of the ring. A year later, he won Open Roadster at AMHR Nationals.

Versatile minis at Enchanted Hollow include Whispering Hill Farm Magician, Classique's Phantom Gold, D&S Double Dutch Chocolate, D&S Excuse My French, Mini Bucks Little Sabrina and Quail's Creek Rumorhasit. They all won 2007 AMHR Nationals championships. Enchanted Hollow also has a promising group of young minis that includes Buckeye WCF Dance Machine, Buckeye WCF Mr. Showtime and Enchanted Hollow's Sir Jumpsalot, who has Falabella and Arenosa ancestry. Enchanted Hollow also has a sire, Flaby's Ringo, who has produced exceptional show horses and herd sires.
